              | Wendy McClure, Managing Director 
Wendy McClure has worked for Open Door Theatre since March 2001. She graduated
from the University of Washington with a degree in business/accounting. Wendy takes
care of all the administrative, office, and support roles within the organization.
Wendy has actively sought training in the prevention field since working for Open
Door Theatre. She has attended numerous courses about using risk and protective
factors in program development, childhood sexual abuse, victim advocacy, bullying,
adverse childhood experiences, community organizing and leadership, and building assets
in children. Wendy is an active parent and community member, is passionate about keeping
children safe, and appreciates the value of empowering children and parents with skills
and resources.
David Kline, Artistic Director 
David Kline first worked with Open Door Theatre fifteen years
ago as an actor and tour manager. He is glad to be back with the
company as the Artistic Director and even more proud of the current
cast. Before returning to ODT, Dave worked with Gap Theatre, TALK
Theatre, Northwest Shakespeare, The Good Companions, Pioneer Square
Theatre, and Seattle City Light touring theatre. Dave has a BA in
Theatre with a Masters in Education and currently works at Bellevue
High School as the head of the theatre department and the Evergreen
School as director of the summer theatre program. David has received
the Anne Esset award of excellence for inclusion of SPED students in
a classroom for three years in a row. He received the WSU Educator
of Excellence award in 2007, and David has made the WHO's WHO
of Teachers in 2005, 2006 and 2007. He is currently working as
a Director/Actor/Writer with the interactive theatre company, Events
on the Edge, performing in both murder mysteries and interactive musicals
aboard the Argosy Cruise ships. Dave has been married to Anne for twenty
years and is the proud father of daughter Chiara and son Matteo. Brittany Fredette, Actor 
Dreaming of the day this would come, Brittany Fredette is thrilled to be with Open
Door Theatre. Ms. Fredette found her passion early enjoying theater in
high school. Brittany then followed up with several performances at
Shoreline Community College. Favorite roles include: Abigail Williams in
"The Crucible", and Mrs. Sowerberry in "Oliver!" A former nanny, Brittany
enjoys working with children and being able to send such a positive
message to them. Outside of the theater, Brittany also volunteers with a
non-profit group, Motorcycle Victims Accident Fund. Brittany is a huge
Seattle sports fanatic and enjoys cheering on the Seattle Sounders,
Seahawks, and spending the warm summer months at Safeco Field cheering on
the Mariners. Brittany is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of
Open Door Theatre and something so wonderful and worthwhile. Kori Just, Actor 
Kori Just burst onto the theatre scene as a child, playing the pivotal role of
Charlie Brown in an elementary school production. He started acting in 5th
grade and knew it was a perfect fit. Since then, Kori has appeared on stage
and screen many times. Often a gangster or a bad-guy, Kori can be seen
throughout the Puget Sound doing interactive murder mysteries with Events
on the Edge productions. He also appears in an Interactive Mafia Musical “
Meet the Biscottis” and in “Caffeine” (an addictive musical). You can pick up
his recently released movie, "Bullets, Blood and a Fistful of Ca$h" from Netflix.
A big kid himself, Kori is thrilled to be working with Open Door Theatre and relieved
to have this opportunity to use his powers for good. Dorothy Pierce, Actor, Team Leader and Road Manager 
Dorothy Pierce did her first show at the age of 5, playing one of the children
in “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” at the University of California, Davis. She has
never stopped. Her first love is musical theatre and she has played roles
ranging from Annie in “Annie Get Your Gun” to the witch in “Into the Woods”.
Dorothy's singing has been heard from New York to Japan. With a special focus
on improvisational theatre and cabaret performance, Dorothy has worked steadily
with both Events on the Edge (Interactive Improvisational Murder Mysteries & an
Interactive Mafia Musical) plus The Broads of Broadway for many years. She actively
works with children, annually producing a school musical featuring over 300
children. Dorothy serves on the board of two non-profit child-focused organizations
and now feels lucky to be working with Open Door Theatre. Dorothy has a 3rd grade
daughter and she and her family live in Edmonds. Jonathan Reis, Actor 
Jonathan Reis made his way to Seattle after growing up in California.
He fell in love with the stage after seeing his older sister's school
production of “Carousel”. Jonathan has been acting for over 25 years and
has acting and directing credits spanning the United States. He is the
Founding Director of Curtain Call Theatre in Bothell, which he started in
1995. Jonathan is proud of his work with the community, teaching theatre
and life skills classes to senior citizens and directing them in several
shows per year. Jonathan spent last year touring the East Coast with the
American Shakespeare Center, based in Staunton, VA, performing as Claudius
in “Hamlet”; Claudius in “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead” and Egeon,
Balthazar and the Policeman in “The Comedy of Errors”. Jonathan is thrilled
to be home in the PNW and performing with Open Door Theatre. Jonathan and
his partner, Jon, have a home in Monroe that they share with their two dogs,
Oreo and Sebastian.
